Many of you might not know this, especially since I have been MIA for over a week now, but I am in UTAH, attending the Evo ’10 Conference in Park City. The conference itself has been awesome, but as far the getting acclimated to the new altitude, not so much.
First, let me say that I have never flown across the country before, so that was a bit nerve racking, but then upon arrival, I immediately didn’t feel right. An achey tummy was the first sign. I dealt with it, despite feeling like a balloon had been inflated in my lower abdomen, I was ok.
Then last night, as I was getting ready for bed, I noticed my face was starting to get a little dry, so I used a scrubbing cleanser. BIG mistake! This morning, I woke up with burning, red cheeks. It was HORRIBLE! I had to use so much makeup to cover up the mess, and that was NOT a pretty sight.
To top all of that off, I then proceed to have a bloody nose in the middle of one of the workshops today. Talk about having a rough day. I did meet a lot of cool people, so I’m glad I stuck around.
After that, I was so exhausted, I had to take a nap. I also went to get a mini-facial at the Nu-Skin suite, and had a blast at the Scandinavian Child Suite.
The great part about coming out to Utah is that I’ve been able to relax and have a little mommy break. I love my daughter, but it’s been nice to step back and take a deep breath. I miss her so much! Having a relaxing time is important though, which has allowed me to re-energize, and recuperate my aching feet that were aching to the bone.
Anyway, I have lots to share from this conference, since it’s far from over, but wanted to let you know I have something to giveaway! I was able to snag a little something something from the opening keynote, and want to share it with a lucky somebody.

Awww. Sorry the altitude is not being nice to you! You’re probably dehydrated. Drink lots and lots of water – that should help a lot with all the sickness you’re feeling. (It was nice to meet you today!)
