My Love,
I know that since we’ve had our beautiful daughter, that things haven’t calmed down. It’s mostly been one thing after another, and we haven’t had time for ourselves. You’ve probably forgotten how sexy I can be, since mostly what I wear is pajamas, or sweats with my hair in a bun to hide the tangles in my hair. I’m sure it isn’t sexy to see baby puke in my hair either.
I remember when we used to go out on dates and have romantic dinners, just us two. Those days are few and very far between now, but I wish for just one night, that we could have a date like that once again. Valentines day is just around the corner, and it would a perfect night if we could have the night all to ourselves, with a baby sitter taking care of baby bear for the night. We’d have a romantic dinner without having to worry about baby dropping toys on the floor, and having to pick them up. We’d go do something fun, like playing golf, or just watching a movie without having to pause every few minutes. At this point, I’m not very picky on what we’d do, as long as I get to spend the night with you.
My sweet heart, I wish to spend just one night alone, without having to wake up in the middle of the night to rock the baby back to bed. I’d actually like to cuddle with YOU all night instead. I’d like to remember what it’s like to take care of our needs first for just one night. I want to have the time to show you how much I love you and how thankful that you are my husband and that even though we don’t always have time for ourselves, we always have each other and have the rest of time to spend together. I love you!
