Well, unfortunately I was so wrapped up in the UT vs. Colorado game that I forgot to post for the 10th, but I’ll make it up with a couple of posts today. I had a great time tonight. Normally, we don’t go out very often since we stay at home taking care of our sweet pumpkin pie, but tonight we really wanted to watch the game and it wasn’t coming out on public broadcast television. Since we don’t have cable we decided we all would go out to some local tex-mex restaurant. We got a perfect seat to watch the game and much on some chips, and have some beverages. The booth we got was a little awkward to get a high chair, so I just sat Lina next to me, and now that she’s been able to sit up without my support or even using her own hands, things have gotten so much easier. She sat next to me, and was amazed by all the lights and sounds, and didn’t make a peep. Although she seemed a little tired, since it was passed her bed time, she stayed awake and just played with the toys we brought with us, and just looked around with bright eyes. Soon after the vanity of the place we were at wore off, I decided that it was time for her to eat again, and soon after she drifted off, and fell asleep in the noisy restaurant with cheering fans. I burped her, then laid her down between mommy and daddy, and all though the lights were bright, she was out for the count. We finished watching UT stomp on Colorado, and finished our drinks. It was a great night, and my Lina bear was once again, very well behaved. Once the game was over, we packed up and headed back home. I figured she would go right back to sleep, but if we don’t go through our normal night time routine, she will not sleep soundly through the night, so we put her down to play for a bit. I suppose she’s starting to recognize faces more, and is able to vocalize more, so the little toys we were playing with made her crack up laughing. TOO FUNNY!!! I’ll get the video shortened, and post it up. She’s also learning how to crawl, so many things are happening in such little time. It was a great night for football, and a great night being a mommy. Go ‘Horns! Go Mommy!
Go 'Horns!
