Well, it’s another Columbus day, and also happens to be the Canadian Thanksgiving for Canadians. Happy Thanksgiving, y’all! It’s a nice day today, there really isn’t very much sun, or very much going on today, but it’s just great to breath the air of another day. I can’t wait for the US Thanksgiving holiday…turkey, stuffing, pies, potatoes, and all the good stuff that will certainly add about 5 lbs of weight in just ONE day. Ay, as if I don’t have enough trouble getting rid of the baby fat I packed on during pregnancy. LOL. Anyway, I have tons of chores to do today, that I kind of let pile up over the weekend, but I know that I can knock most if it out if I’m just consistent. Consistency is a theme that has been a recurring theme lately, and speaks in volumes about a person’s ability for success, or their rate of failure. I never used to be a consistent person until I’ve become a mother. Yes, it’s true. I was always a fly by the seat of my pants type of person, and never really would follow through with everything, or anything for that matter. It was always annoying how I would almost always fail at what I was doing. Until motherhood was bestowed upon me is when I started learning the importance of consistency and follow through. With Lina bear always demanding something or another, I HAVE to be consistent, otherwise she will tear me to pieces. I’m using this blog as a little way to stay sane, and also a way to share my experiences with other moms that need some real motivation, or just to hear words of a mom that is going through the struggle too. I love being able to stay at home with my daughter, and glad that I am fortunate enough to stay at home with her without being stressed out financially. Life is great, and everyone’s life can be like that, especially with a bit of consistency, motherhood, and everything else becomes that much easier. Who ever knew that just a little bit each day would come such a long way and add up to be everything you hoped for and envisioned, and MORE! Good day to all, and I have a Columbus and Thanksgiving day! I have to get back to baby, and to my housework. Cheers!
Consistency….and Happy Columbus Day!
